It’s time for another morning coffee post, where I try to scrape together a few thoughts into something resembling a coherent blog post. Enjoy!
-As you can see, I’ve changed my template again. I’m thinking that this will be the permanent one, as it’s easy on the eyes and I can personalize it with a nice header image. Oh and I can keep–or maybe add a few more–widgets. It only took three attempts before I found the right one. Go me!
-As of right now, my “flaming Autobot” sleep pants are drying. This is the last bit of true convention laundry that I had left to wash. All that remains are a few long sleeved tees and some dressier clothes that I wore to the Casino Night dinner. But as for my actual Transformers tees, I’m done. Once those pants dry, I can start packing again. I just hope I have somewhere to go next year.
–Captain America: Civil War will open this week. Not sure when I’ll catch it but I will be catching a showing… though I have all ideas I’m going to be a sobbing wreck afterwards.
-I’ve been doing a number of Elite Four run-throughs on my copy of Omega Ruby lately. What I’m trying to do is level up my Latios to 100 in order to take him into the Battle Maison. I’m hoping to do a run for the Singles, then the Super Singles so I can get an Expert Battler Ribbon on my prized Golurk, Riser. Yeah, it’s crazy. Yeah, it’s pointless. But I love my Golurk like you wouldn’t believe so to me, it’s worth it.
-Tracfone finally sent me a new phone and it works. I have bars in my own house now. Awesome.
-A sure sign of spring in Wisconsin: I’ve seen my first two bumblebees of the season. Black and yellow and fuzzy and cute. Warmer weather is finally here!
-The cat has discovered that pilfered food tastes better. He’s now stealing bites from the food scoop before I pour it. Naughty kitty.
-We have about a week and a half before CoroCoro leaks again. Here’s hoping we get some Pokemon Sun and Moon news, lest the fandom go completely insane.
-Free Comic Book Day is this Saturday. Hit your local comic shop, grab some free books and support your local comic book guy. This is not the “worst idea ever”. (Admit it: you read those last few words in the Comic Book Guy’s voice.)
-I’ve been listening to the backlog of Cognitive Dissonance episodes and I’m about to hit 70. Heh, only 220 more to go before I’m all caught up…!
And that’s about it. Tune in next time when I scrape through the droppings of my brain in order to come up with something worth reading. See you then!
