The Light at the End of the Tunnel

I’m finally coming to the end of my stint in the Food Court. I can’t say that I’m going to miss the place. It’s an absolute mess in there, as last night was an example.

There was no production, so we were running out of food most of the night. The schedule has changed daily so none of us know what to expect. There is a lot of dissatisfaction and already one of the newer hires is saying he may put in his two weeks notice.

It’s bad. It’s really bad. I’ve been so stressed that I haven’t had the energy to update the blog. It’s been so exhausting that I barely want to climb out of bed in the morning.

It’ll get better. By this time next week, things will be better.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
