About Today

Today is Valentine’s Day. If you are single and happy, be happy. If you are in a relationship and are not happy, do not blame yourself if you decide to move on. If you are child-free and happy, do not let others tell you that your life is unfulfilled because you have no children. If you are engaged but not married and are happy, excellent. If you have finalized a nasty divorce and feel free for the first time in years, more power to you. This is your life; no one should tell you how to be happy or what you are required to have in order to be happy. That’s your decision to make.

Life is too short to be miserable.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we are both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat. Life is pretty darned awesome.

It is too bad because of societal pressure that many people feel compelled to stay in bad relationships than to not be in a relationship at all. For me, being in no relationship post-Callous was not ideal, but it was an improvement over having stayed with him. You only get one shot at a lifetime so I will take my time to seek someone who will love me as I am. And that man turned out to be Joe. This Monday 08/28/17 is our fourth wedding anniversary. 🙂
