I Got Nothing

Seriously: Josh Duggar, Playing the Victim Card, Joins Lawsuit Filed By His Sisters. I could not make this shit up if I even tried.

Duggar filed documents to join the lawsuit Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy filed last month. In his docs, Josh says cops assured him his 2006 interview discussing the molestation of his sisters would remain private. He says since he wasn’t charged, the information wouldn’t have gone public … if the reports weren’t released to In Touch magazine.

Duggar says once the story came out, it caused him mental anguish and humiliation. He played up the sympathy card in the docs, saying he was “victimized and forced to relieve the painful and difficult circumstances of a traumatic experience as a juvenile.”

Translation: “So what if I molested those girls?! What about MY FEELINGS?! MY FEEEEEEEELINGS!!!”

Hey, Josh? You do know that there are real victims here, right? You know who they are; they are the girls that you hurt. So do us all a huge freaking favor. Get off the damned cross. Someone in Siberia could use the fucking firewood.

If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go binge on some kitten videos. Because if I don’t, I’ll lose all my faith in humanity. (Not that I had much to begin with but still…!)

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we are both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat. Life is pretty darned awesome.

If that’s the tragedy of the most famous Quiverfull Movement family – how much worse is it for the no-name Quiverfull Movement families that are out there? Since they’re an isolated bunch, it’s hard to really question them and get some statistics – not that they’d ever talk about such things.
