Today’s post is brought to you by: Quotable Coffee hazelnut flavor from Life Plus Style Gourmet.
It’s time for another Morning Coffee post, where I toss a little word salad. So get the ranch dressing and let’s dig in, shall we?
-Yesterday was absolutely amazing. I got to spent the day at the ballpark and see the partial eclipse in my area. It didn’t get totally dark; the light just became rather diffused. We were very lucky, all things considered, as a lot of spots in the US were cloudy and viewing was less than stellar. In NE Wisconsin the clouds cleared out during the eclipse and rolled back in when it was over. Like I said, we were very lucky here and no, I will never forget that day or that event.
-Well, the eclipse is over and the world is still here. Yes, there were people who were afraid that something awful would happen during the eclipse. It didn’t. The moon just blotted out the sun for a little while and the planets kept turning. They’re still turning. Don’t worry; the universe is going to keep chugging along, eclipses or not.
-Last night, Prime and I finished Deep Space Nine. I’m still crying over that last episode. Damn. All the feels. ALL OF THEM. That’s all I can say.
-We’ll be switching back to Voyager soon. I’m not sure if I’m ready for that yet; we’re heading into the last season or so of that and well, there’s a lot of feels there, too. That and I’m going to end up watching Homestead again and I haven’t recovered from the first time I saw it.
-I was finally able to check Target and no, I couldn’t find any Transformers school supplies. Nothing, zip, nada, zilch. So I’m doubting that ShopKo has anything and TRU only seems to have a couple of lunch boxes and backpacks. Again, this is a movie year and we’re not getting an onslaught of school supplies. What the slag?
–The Last Knight will be released on home media in September. It looks very doubtful that it’ll hit the billion mark. Here’s hoping that the Bumblebee movie is a breakout success.
-We’re coming to the end of baseball season, which means that Prime and I are trying like hell to cram in as many Timber Rattlers games in as possible. It seems like only yesterday that the season just freaking started and now here we are with only a handful of games left… where did the summer go?
That just about covers everything. Drop by next time where I throw some letters onto the blog and see if I can come up with a somewhat cohesive post. Until next time!
