One Last Micro HasCon Update

Since the trade show/convention is this week, this will probably be the last of the pre-HasCon updates. So let’s cut to the chase, shall we?

-Apparently, Hasbro actually will not be sending out physical tickets. If you preregistered, you will pick them up at a ticket booth. Yeah, I’m confused as well.

-There is going to be a Stan Bush concert. That sounds like fun.

-There will also be a TakaraTOMY autograph session. Yoke-san will be there. That sounds fun. The major problem? Why weren’t we told about it earlier?

I have to admit, the concert and meeting the guys from Takara sounds pretty awesome. But I’m more than a little burned by the fact that none of this had been mentioned earlier. Those are things that might have swayed my decision and might have convinced me to go. So why wait? It just reeks of bad planning. I’m forced to wonder if Hasbro knows what they are doing.

I do have a friend who is attending. I’ll be hearing firsthand how good or it bad this is. Only a few days left and we’ll see.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.

  1. DeviceDude says:

I understand having a surprise guest, but if you want attendance, you build anticipation. BotCon in the 3H and FunPub years understood this by saying who would be at the convention, with a little clause stating guests may withdraw due to pee-existing commitments. HasBro don’t know that yet.
