So the Hall of Fame dinner happened last night. It went well, if a bit oddly. Apparently, they ran out of tables, which is a bit weird. Even weirder? The HOF presentation was more geared towards Lorenzo di Bonaventura. There was a presentation for Sue Blu, but it wasn’t as long or as in-depth, from what I’ve heard. Some feel that Hasbro is looking to rub elbows with the A listers, thus the longer vid for LiB.
Uh Hasbro? You’re a toy company. Yes, you have some great franchises but you are a toy company at heart. That isn’t a bad thing, okay?
Also, the Welker/Cullen panel was awesome. But I rather expected that.
DA also got the rest of exclusives today, so there’s that.
The people attending have said that they are having fun and I’m glad for that. Me, I don’t feel too bad about missing this. The only things that I was interested in were the dinner and the VA panel. That was all.
Today’s the last day. Yet I feel like I didn’t miss anything at all.
As great as the Cullen/Welker panels were, I wish they had not been repetitive. The one one Sunday was basically a repeat of the one from Saturday with the same questions, answers and presentations. Would’ve been better if the Sunday panel had been more different.
One more day to go….
