Random Musings

You know it’s going to be a good day when you see one of these. No, I wouldn’t pick orange and black, he’d have to be yellow and black. For reasons. Want to guess which ones?

Currently, I’m sitting in Starbucks, finishing up a bit of coffee and a small spot of breakfast. It’s not terribly busy, which is rather nice. Normally, this place is hopping but right now, it’s subdued. We just got a bit of rain, which might explain things. But as of right now, all I can hear is the music over the loudspeakers and the baristas chatting.

It would be heaven, if I were at a convention.

Yes, I’m still more than a little burned over that bit of news. The idea that Hasbro might not hold their event on a yearly basis stings. I’m still wondering why we can’t have both. Rotating the conventions wouldn’t be a bad idea; why can’t we make it happen?

Apparently, The Last Knight is out on home media today. Yes, there are some store exclusives. Prime and I will probably get the TRU set; it has a comic. I’m a bit upset that the movie didn’t do as well as expected. However, this entire summer was a down season movie-wise. There may be other factors involved, not strictly franchise fatigue. But who knows?

Tomorrow, I will attend my final Brewers game of the season. Playoffs start in nine days. How did it get so late in the year? It doesn’t seem possible.

Time keeps flowing. But it’s going far too fast for my tastes.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
