Snow-pocalypse Not Found

Apparently, we were supposed to get anywhere from four to twelve inches of snow yesterday. It was supposed to be pretty bad, and enough to where I was glad I had yesterday off from work. Guess what didn’t happen?

Oh yeah, we got nothing. In fact, most of the flakes fell today. The stuff didn’t stick around; most of it melted by the afternoon. I’m doubting our chances for a white Christmas.

Today was busy. Our 10:30 door count was 259. On a typical Friday, we might get 95 people in the building at that time. I’m willing to bet that we’ll have at least three thousand members walking through the doors at the end of the day.

Last minute Christmas shopping. Lots of it. I dread to think of how busy it will be tomorrow. Fortunately, I’m not working.

The last few days before Christmas are tough. It’s busy. Some people are cranky. Everyone is stressed. The fact that we lost a day–a lot of people stayed home yesterday –isn’t helping.

Just a few more days. I can make it.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
