Status Update: Version 1.0.1

It just wouldn’t be a trip if Prime didn’t get sick afterwards.

It seems that Prime is dealing with the ubiquitous “Con Crud”, which is usually an upper respiratory infection of some stripe. He’s getting better but feels a bit cruddy right now. He’s missed a bit of work, but I’d rather he stay home and recover rather than go in and infect someone else. But that’s just me.

Monday was quiet; the two of us simply lounged about most of the day. Considering how my right hip has been acting–my sciatic nerve has been pissed off for the last couple of weeks–this wasn’t such a terrible thing. The less limping I do, the better.

Mentally, I feel much better; the day trip to Milwaukee did me some good. I guess I need things like Brewers On Deck and BotCon to help me recharge. As to how I keep forgetting that, I don’t know.

I don’t get another day off until the weekend. It’s going to be a long stretch, but it was worth it.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
