Flakes of Different Types

In our case, it decided to show up tonight. Well, earlier today and into tonight, heading into tomorrow. The snow had been gone for the last few weeks. But now it’s back with a vengeance. Luckily, I don’t have to be in to work until Wednesday. It should be done by then, I would hope.

I managed to stay out of the breakroom again today. Since I was only there for six hours, it was pretty easy. However, I think I may have found a solution to my problem.

While I was putting my backpack away, I spotted some open electrical outlets along the wall near the lockers. They were relatively secluded. Last night, I discovered that I can save a draft to my WordPress App even if I don’t have WiFi available.

Starting Wednesday, I’m bringing my tablet. I can tap out a post, save it, and keep myself hidden in the back. I’m also going to download some podcasts and listen to them, so I’ll have my ear buds at the ready.

As long as I stay hidden and quiet, no one will notice me. Problem solved. The outlets give me a perfect excuse; I’m sitting in the back of the breakroom so I can charge my tablet. It’s nothing unusual.

Our of sight, out of mind. I’m just irritated that I didn’t figure it out sooner.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
