Morning Coffee: Cup Thirty-Six

morning_coffeeToday’s post–and good mood–is brought to you by: Dunkin’ Donuts White Chocolate Peppermint.

It’s time for another Morning Coffee post, where I drink coffee and wax nostalgic and bitter. So let’s get this thing started!

-The weather has been weird lately. We had freezing rain, then a thaw and now we might get more rain. “Lousy Smarch weather…” /Homer

-Prime and I have been watching Extreme Ghostbuster lately. It isn’t bad but I could use a break after the episode we watched last night. Freaking. Evil. Clowns. Yeah, that’s not creepy at all. Talk about high grade Nightmare Fuel. (Warning: TV Tropes link. I am not responsible if you end up spending three months clicking though the various pages.)

-Taking my tablet to work has been awesome. It’s a lot easier for me to put together a blog post–the WordPress app will save changes locally if there is no wi-fi–and I’ve finally caught up with God Awful Movies. I’ve also started listening to the Citation Needed podcast. They’ve been keeping the boredom at bay, since most of the time the breakroom television has been locked on the Winter Olympics.

-I’ve been limited my time on Facebook and it has been nice. There is a lot less drama in my life and a lot less bullshit. Oh, I still share things, but it isn’t from my newsfeed and I’ve been staying away from the ads. Fewer clicks = less money.

-Apparently, the Transformers Generation One cartoon background music will get a vinyl release next month. There’s been no word of a CD or e-version. Hopefully, there will be, because we all know that someone is going to upload the tracks from the album the moment it’s released.

And that just about does it. Drop by next time when I pick through the crumbs of my life and try to post something vaguely interesting. Until then, I’ll see you next time!

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
