I’ve been staying off Facebook lately. Well, my newsfeed page, anyway. It has helped me a bit; I’m finding more useful things to do with my time. If I share anything, it’s from my friends or directly from the source. I’ve been hiding ads as well. Again, fewer clicks, less money.

Today and tomorrow I’m working until 15:00 (3pm). That means that tomorrow I’ll finally be catching a showing of Black Panther. To say that I’ve been waiting for this would be an understatement.

I guess the Olympics are over now. All I know is that Spring Training is in full swing and I couldn’t be happier.

Apparently, the Member Service schedule for tomorrow was changed. I’m still in at ten and I get off before Prime, but I may be the only opener. I have no idea who might be doing the steel walk in the morning, as there is no way I can. There isn’t enough time. Personally, I’m not going to worry about it. I’m done early and Prime and I have tickets to Black Panther. Things won’t be so terrible.

It gets better. Again. It seems that now we have to check in with a supervisor before we go on break; if we don’t, we can end up with a counseling notice. Lovely. Don’t ask me how this will work during the weekends, since the front end is so busy that you can’t even find a supervisor. I’m forced to wonder how long this will last.

Today we got a new time clock and new walkie talkies. I’m not sure if I like either of them. The time clock has a touchscreen display, rather than buttons and I’m not used to it yet. The new walkies have a delay broadcasting, which has been throwing me off all day. I’ll get used to it, but it will take time.

Is it bad that two of my co-workers have noticed that Wiesia is less than nice to me? Because two of them have. I don’t know what to think about that.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
