Revolving Doors

The surprising thing about Wisconsin? The day after a storm, the sky is a brilliant blue. It never ceases to amaze me.

Not too long ago, as I was customizing my blog, I noticed that the template I’m using has been listed as “retired”. That startled me a little; I was afraid that my blog might go through a sudden change. However, it seems that the template is available for me to use, but not for any new blogs. I’m happy to know that, as it took a few switches before I found the perfect one. I started with Fiore, changed it to Koi and then finally settled on Twenty Ten. If I can keep this one, I’ll be happy.

It seems that there is a new at-home test for breast cancer. I wish this had been a thing some years ago. If I had known then that I was at a risk, I would have cut out the soy a long time ago.

Dennis and Wiesia switched shifts, so I worked with Dennis today. It looks as though I’ll be dealing with Wiesia on Saturday. I’m not looking forward to it.

I’m off tomorrow. All I want to do is sleep. I can’t help it; I am dead damn tired.

Prime brought home Girl Scout cookies last night. We’re hitting them already. I’m going to try not to eat too many. Emphasis on the word try.

The document and word processing software on my Kindle works. And it works really well. I’m glad of that and I have all ideas that I’ll be using it a lot.

Pacific Rim: Uprising is coming out in a few weeks. I can hardly wait.

If I may be so bold: perhaps the Grand Nagus could install a revolving door on the White House. That way, it’ll be easier for all the staffers who are getting the hell out of Dodge.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
