Exit, Stage Life

I’m thinking I’m number three. At least for right now. I blame Wal-Mart.

Last night sucked. I barely got any sleep and trying to fall asleep was rather unsuccessful. I couldn’t stay comfortable, and I was either too hot or too chilled. My dreams, when I had them, were torturously odd, almost feverish in their insanity. Nothing made sense, even by dreaming standards and this wasn’t due to cold medication, as I had taken none whatsoever.

My fever has seemingly broken for now. But I’m forced to wonder if it had still been hanging on last night. It’s the only explanation that makes any sense.

Prime dropped by during his lunch to get me to work. I was planning on heading in with him this morning but I was so out of it that I couldn’t keep my eyes open for more than a few minutes. He pretty much ordered me to go back to bed and get some rest. I did, and zoned out for an hour and forty five minutes.

Apparently, the fever comes back at night. Another temperature check and I still have a mild fever, this time at 99°. That might explain the discomfort I felt last night. So, I’m not entirely healthy yet, but I am getting there, albeit slowly.

Today was moderately busy, not bad for a Friday. Lunch was free today and consisted of tacos and the like. I ate pretty well. I still don’t get the appeal of March Madness, though. Basketball is interesting enough, but college sports are boring to me. The teams change so often that it’s hard to keep track.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
