Motivation

Somedays, I need that sort of kick in the pants.

Don’t ask me how but Prime was able to score the two of us Opening Day tickets. Currently, the Crew is in San Diego, as their opening series is against the Padres. They won in extra innings, which was the first opening day win for them since 2014. Here’s hoping that this good luck carries over tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow I’ll be doing a 15:30 (3:30PM) to 22:00 (10:00PM) shift. I have no idea as to why I’m going to be there so late; I’m hoping that I’ll be at the door until 21:00 (9:00) so I won’t have too much time to blow. I’m thinking that I’ll be cleaning up the breakroom but who knows?

Saturday is just as bad, as I’ll be stuck there until 20:00 (8:00). Again,I have no idea as to why but I think I’m going to be doing the last walk for the night, filing the paperwork, then head back to the door until all the members are gone. Saturdays are pretty busy, so we’ll have people coming in until the very last minute, if not outright sneaking in after the entrance door is locked. Though things might be slightly worse this week, as Sunday is Easter and we’re closed on Sunday.

I’ll have to make sure that my tablet has a charge on Monday. I’m going to snap some pictures and try to make a quick post while I’m at the ballpark. But there will be a blog post, trust me.

Here’s hoping for a Brewers win!

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
