Welcome to Wisconsin. This is so true that it isn’t even funny.
I think I’ve been had. By one of my co-workers. Namely, Wiesia.
Alright, yesterday I was talking to Dennis, one of my other Member Service co-workers and I mentioned that today wouldn’t be so bad, as we didn’t have Wiesia there. That’s when he told me that she had been on a hell of a tear lately. It appears that one of the guys in Majors pitched some trash in our can attached to the spill cart and she completely lost it on him. She told him that he couldn’t throw anything away in there and that he needed to use a different can. After he managed to get away from her, Wiesia then proceeded to call a Supervisor to the door and demanded that Majors be given a trash can of their own so that they don’t use ours. Before you ask, no, Majors never got the trash can. I was surprised, to put it mildly. But Dennis said she’d been that way for a couple of weeks.
Suddenly, it made sense. It’s not a bunch of co-workers who have A Problem With Me, it’s only one: Wiesia. She’s been the only person who has gotten an attitude whenever she’s around me, so I think that it’s just her and her alone that doesn’t like me. Hell, most everyone else is friendly to me; she’s the lone exception. Case in point: if I’m in the breakroom and the remote control for the TV is near me, she’ll yank it away and change the channel. It doesn’t matter if someone else is watching whatever is on, she’ll switch it over to Game Show Network. No one else does this. It’s just her. As to why, I have no idea. But that doesn’t matter to me anymore.
Most of the snow is melting. The ground is just too warm for it to stick. The stuff seems to be melting from the bottom upward. Most of the streets are clear, as well as most of the sidewalks. It’s been too warm for too long for the snow to stay. If the air temperature would warm up, it would help but we’re not expecting anything really warm until next week.
For reasons that I don’t quite know, I have George Michael’s “Kissing A Fool” stuck in my head. That and Weird Al’s “Spam”. Don’t ask me why.
Prime and I have tickets to the Timber Rattlers home opener this Saturday. I hope it isn’t too cold.
