The Load

That’s quite the load. Impressive. At least it’s not manure.

Yesterday, Wiesia went home at 1700; she was having trouble with her knee. When I got in today, we had a pair of Front Enders at the doors. Mary was on the walk, Dennis had left for the day, and Wiesia had called in for the day. I’m guessing that her knee was still sore and she didn’t want to risk it. She’s supposed to be in tomorrow but we’ll have to see.

As long as Karen isn’t working as well. It appears that Wiesia does not like Karen. At all. Wiesia thinks that Karen is a bully and there have been a few trips to the office about this. I have no idea what Karen thinks of Wiesia, if anything and frankly, I don’t care. I had to deal with that sort of petty ass bullshit when I was at Wal-Mart and I refuse to get caught up in that garbage again. It’s immature, tiresome, petty, and unprofessional. People seem to forget that when you’re at work, you’re not there to make friends. You’re there to make money. No, you are not going to like everyone who works with you. Put those feelings aside and do your damn job.

Before you ask: yes, I have had co-workers that have gotten on my last nerve. Yes, I’ve had to deal with people who drove me nuts. I still did my job. It wasn’t always easy, but I did it anyway.

Thankfully, I’m not working tomorrow. If Wiesia does go in and Karen is there and there is static at the doors, I won’t have to worry about it. Thank Primus for small favors.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
