Here Is a Great Thing

Remember MAGA Jazz? Well, Hasbro finally took care of that. It seems that they removed the offending mark and simply made that space blank.

Personally, I don’t think that the glyph in question should have made it on the figure in the first place. Number one: this is a toy and politics shouldn’t be mixed with toys. Number two: Jazz is an Autobot and I daresay he wouldn’t support the Grand Nagus at all. Number three and probably the most important: this felt more than a little racist. Jazz has been voiced by black actors and slapping a reference to the Grand Nagus on his figure was just wrong.

There are those who aren’t all that happy about this but I am not one of them. It’s about damn time, Hasbro.
