Brewing Victory

You might recall that I made a brief post from Miller Park. Another day off, another Brewers game. You know, the usual. So how did things go? Well, to start off, it didn’t look good.

In the first inning, the Atlanta Braves had taken a two run lead over the Crew. When things started, it started with the Brewers behind the eight ball. However, this was just the first inning; there was a lot more baseball to play. And as a great sage once said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.”

Although the bottom of the first saw the Brewers go quietly with only one run, the bottom of the second was a different story. The Brewers managed to plate three additional runs, which gave them the lead. It would stay that way until the eighth inning, where the Crew would score three more times, taking a commanding 7 to 2 lead over the Braves. Needless to say, the Braves couldn’t come back from that.

To say this game was fun would be an understatement. I had a blast. Although the heat was a bit of a downer, once Prime and I got to our seats, we were fine. I especially loved the view, as I had a nice vantage point overlooking the Brewers dugout. That made for some really good pictures, as you can tell.

We’re home now. “Tomorrow” is back to work for both of us. But that’s okay. There’s always another game at Miller Park.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
