Two Things

Thanks to Transformers Luxembourg and Nerdist, we now have pics of Power Charge Bumblebee, which is one of the upcoming toys.

I have to be honest here: I think that the figure looks absolutely fantastic. I love the battle mask, as it has a very insect feel to it–especially the eyes–and the VW mode is gorgeous. If someone had told me when I was nine years old that Bumblebee would be one of the most popular characters in the Transformers franchise, he would get his own movie and he’d get such nice looking figures, I would have thought them insane. But here we are.

We’ve also got a look at the SDCC exclusive Studio Series Bumblebee Retro Rock Garage set from both Transformers Luxembourg and Hasbro Toy Shop. The set will cost you approximately $60US and it will be available at SDCC for purchase and on HTS after the show. There seems to be more excitement over the dino cassettes rather than the Bumblebee; I’m thinking of dropping a few hints online to let people know that if they have no use for Bee, I can take him. Because I need all of the Bumblebees.

However, it seems I don’t need that little thing called food or money. I might starve, but I’ll be happy.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We miss him every day.
