Last night, Prime and I hit our last season ticket game at Fox Cities stadium. It seems the Timber Rattlers have about a week or so left in their season. Minor league baseball is drawing to a close. Our last ticket from our season holder booklet. The giveaway was a Fang coin bank. Already I’m hearing about pennant races and playoff games. We’re getting that close. A shot from our seats earlier in the game. Great seats if you want to nab a ball or an autograph. Not so great for the Wi-Fi. I don’t know why, but I’ve never been able to post anything–Facebook or blog–from my seat down there. I can do it when I’m sitting in the Fox Club, however. A shot from the Fox Club. It was there that I managed to upload these photos and tap out this brief post. Again, the Wi-Fi is better up here. We had live music after the seventh inning again. A bit too loud for my ears, but otherwise enjoyable. Don’t ask me how but Quad Cities was able to score a run in the top of the ninth, tying the game one to one. The TRats couldn’t win it in the ninth, so we went into extra innings.
At the top of the tenth, the River Bandits managed to take the lead and the Rattlers couldn’t answer back. That’s how it ended, unfortunately. Maybe next season.
Quad Cities River Bandits: 2, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers: 1
