Actually, we’ve had a decent amount of cold weather and flurries. I’m pretty sure that the mosquitoes are now tiny, frozen bug-cicles. Good riddance.
Today was rather slow, which I didn’t mind. It’s been getting busier over the past few weeks as it is, so a slight slowdown isn’t so bad. The only problem we had was the amount of people at the door; we had at least three too many. Two got sent home early and the rest of us basically did what we could to keep busy. Sadly, we could use that many people on the weekend, but we’re always short scheduled on those days. Don’t ask.
On the bright side, I didn’t have to deal with Wiesia today; she was off, for once. Apparently, I’m not the only one who has been having problems with her, either. I was talking to Peg and it seems that Wiesia has tried to boss Peg around, but Peg refused to take Wiesia’s bullshit. So for a month, Wiesia refused to speak to Peg or Rhonda, as Rhonda happens to be Peg’s friend.
According to Peg, it was the nicest month of her life. That’s saying something. Looks like I’m not alone here. Which is good. I’ll have to remember that.
In other news, my new cellphone should make its appearance sometime tomorrow or Thursday. The wait is absolutely killing me, because I want nothing more than to download and play Pokémon Go now. I’ve only been waiting for the past few years. That’s not a joke, either. But I’ve waited this long; I can hold out a little while longer.
