It’s time for another Morning Coffee post, where I update everyone on the things that are not going on in my life at the moment. So grab yourself a drink and enjoy!
-It’s actually a rather lovely looking day today, all things considered. We were told repeatedly that we’d end up with snow last week and over the weekend, but that didn’t happen. Supposedly, Milwaukee was going to get hit and hit pretty badly, but again, I don’t think that it happened. (I’d love to be a meteorologist. Those guys can get it wrong on a daily basis and still keep their jobs.)
-Apparently, the source of that tainted romaine lettuce has been found. Everybody stay safe out there and make sure to eat a steak. 😉
-It’s been a long while since I’ve had a decent cup of coffee and blogged about it. When Sammy got sick, I just fell away from the habit. I had to look after him and having a cup of coffee was the furthest thing from my mind. When Sammy passed, having a cup was a reminder of what I had lost. So yeah, it’s taken me a while to get back to the habit. Hopefully, this won’t be the last one.
-By now I’m sure you’ve heard that the Grand Nagus has used tear gas against immigrant children at the border. Yes, it pisses me off to no end. However, before anyone gets ridiculously indignant about this: Obama did the same thing as well. Tear gas and pepper spray. You are reading that correctly. Yes, I am pissed the fuck off about that and yes, Obama needs to be fucking held accountable for that shit.
-So Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee/Pikachu have been released for the Switch. I haven’t grabbed a copy of either game and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on much. It’s yet another foray into Kanto, only a rather re-imagined Yellow version, which I have on my 3DS. So as of right now, I can’t justify the cost.
-I’m currently waiting on my cellphone to arrive. I hope that I don’t have to play this sort of waiting game tomorrow; it seems that the package requires a signature and can’t be redirected to another locale. Irritating, but what can you do?
-Work has gotten a lot busier. It’s almost December and Ca$hma$ is around the corner. At least I’m no longer a cashier; Member Service isn’t half as bad and the members aren’t nearly as pissy at the door.
