The reviews are in… and they are overwhelmingly positive. Seriously.
Currently, Bumblebee is sitting at a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes; there’s been one negative review by a neckbearded douchecanoe on a magazine site that doesn’t allow comments. But the Facebook post did, as you can see. If you’ve seen it and want to let this guy know that his review stinks, feel free. 🙂
But seriously, this is great news. As my friend Shawn put it: it’s easier to walk out of this movie feeling good. With The Last Knight, he really didn’t feel that way. But this one is different. Yes, there is action, but it’s less about that and more about the characters.
The official release date is December 21. There’s a few showings on the day before. I’m tempted to go both days. For reasons.
