Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It

I feel attacked…

As you may or may not know, I am on vacation this week. So I have nowhere to go. Unless I really want to go.

Yesterday, I wanted to go… and see another Timber Rattlers game. Prime dropped me off in the stadium parking lot bright and early in the morning, so I could catch the game, which started at 12:05.

A shot of the bus, bringing the Whitecaps players. No, I didn’t ask for any autographs; they had to get ready to go to work.

A bit of a traffic jam on the main concourse. Several of the workers were attempting to move the vehicles, but had some technical difficulties. (One of them–the black pick up–would start, but wouldn’t idle at all. It would just shut down.)

If you look closely at the dugout, you can see a cluster of people at the end of the netting. That’s where I would have been sitting if I hadn’t headed to the Fox Club. No offense, but that’s asking for a major sunburn. I’d rather not spend a week in pain, thank you.

The view from my table, number 26.

Ballpark brunch: a Whiffer waffle with a side of cheese fries. I mean, there’s bacon, waffles, potatoes… Sounds like brunch to me!

Unfortunately, Sunday’s doubleheader was much better; we started with a pitcher’s duel, but the Whitecaps managed to plate three runs. The Rattlers couldn’t answer back. At least the TRats took the series.

Final: West Michigan Whitecaps – 3
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers – 0

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
