3) Okay, whoever came up with the idea of Wonder Box on Pokémon Home is a freaking genius. I’m not kidding. I’ve been using the Wonder Box for the last few days and I’ve gotten some great trades: breeding scraps with three to five IVs, Version exclusives, and yesterday, I got a 6IV shiny Rattata. Why didn’t we have this sort of thing years ago? Because it’s awesome and it makes up for the shitshow that is known as the GTS.
4) Prime and I watched Bumblebee and Downsizing on Hulu this week. It was my fifteenth viewing of Bumblebee and my first for Downsizing. Okay, you expect Downsizing to be a comedy but it’s not; that movie was a serious downer. I did enjoy the environmental message and the Vietnamese dissident was pretty much my favorite character in the entire film–I had no idea that there are eight different kinds of fucks here in the States–but the story itself was rather soul crushing. It’s not a bad film, but it’s not all cheerful and happy, either, which I was expecting. So yeah, you’ve been warned.
5) Prime and I hit Meijer to get Lulu some kitty food and I grabbed a bag of strawberry bark, as it was on clearance. I’ve had a couple of pieces and yeah, the stuff is great. But I do love strawberry and chocolate anything. Hopefully, Lulu will enjoy her dinner; the Rachel Ray’s Nutrish wet food was on clearance as well and Prime cleared them out.
6) I just started my adventure on Shield. No, I don’t have any Badges yet, but I’ve been taking in a lot of Max Raid battles in the Wild Area. The one star Raids are easy, most of the time. Then, you have the ones with Toxel that end up with my Pokémon getting fainted out or my target popping out of the Ball. Not awesome. Of course, the five star Raids are worse.
7) We had windchills in the negative numbers earlier this week. Tomorrow, it’s going to be close to forty degrees. But no, that anthropogenic climate change thing is all BS. Of course it fucking is. 🙄
