Squeaky Wheels

Maybe someone else should have opened the can…?

About two and a half weeks ago, I caught a bit of a cold. I’m over it, I’ve been over it but I’ve had a lingering cough for the past several days that has been driving me insane. It pops up at the absolute worst times imaginable–like when I’m dozing off or I’m in a movie theatre–and I’m tired of it. Sure, I’m moving congestion, but I don’t think my lungs are all that bad right now. So, it’s looking more and more like I’m going to need to start hitting some Delsym to try and combat this. Yay.

The weather wasn’t too bad today; I actually managed to walk from work to the bus stop this afternoon. My winter jacket was almost too heavy for me, considering the temperatures. I probably would have been fine with my pull-over that I wear by the doors, but I didn’t want to underestimate the weather. You can always add more clothig to warm up, if needed, but only if you have it with you.

Skids has a bit of squealing going on in his rear assembly; Prime thinks it may just be the brakes so he’s going to be taking care of it tomorrow. I hope it’s nothing serious.

The first Spring Training game for the Brewers was rained out on Saturday, without any rescheduling. It’s only practice right now, so missing a game or two isn’t exactly detrimental. I just wish I was there, in Arizona, the warm sun on my arms as I watch Orlando Arcia step inside the batter’s box. That would be awesome right now.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
