Dog Days

Sounds like a plan.

The heat and humidity have returned; it’s unbearable right now. Just moving will cause you to break out into a flop sweat, no joke. So trying to stay hydrated during this is not exactly easy. I’ve been hitting the Powerade fairly hard–I may need to get some more–as well as draining bottles of cold water every chance I get. It’s helped but I don’t know if it’s been quite enough. I’m still worrying about my kidneys as well.

I seem to have improved in that regard, but I’m still cautious. I thought I had taken care of this previously and yet it decided to come screaming back, resulting in me needing a shot. So yeah, I’m more than a little cautious about this, as it bit me on the backside the last time I thought it was over.

Today is my first day back to work. It’s only five hours, but it’s long enough. I’m hoping I can get through it.

We may have baseball in a few weeks. I’m glad, but not sure if I’m going to attend the games. I’m fine with social distancing, but I know a lot of people aren’t.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
