(Insert Title Here… I Don’t Know And I Don’t Care)

I need this in my life right now. Believe me.

I’ve been staying the hell off of Facebook today; I’m not in the mood. Especially after reading this post on Dispatches from the Culture Wars.

Ed Brayton has gone into hospice. He’s been having a number of health issues over the past several months and although he’s tried fighting, he’s tired.

So he’s done fighting.
The man’s not a lot older than I.
That disturbs me on a level I can’t begin to describe.

I never met him but I frequented his blog. I loved his writing style which was sarcastic at times, scathing at others and oftentimes hilarious. I considered his blog one of my main news sources and checked it often. But over the last few weeks, he hadn’t been updating as often.

Now I know why.

I just can’t even right now. I literally can’t. I’ll end this on a slightly better note, by posting a cat video. Because we could all use some cute right now.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
