Civic Duty

Same here. Only four years ago.

Today is Election Day. If you haven’t already done it yet, take the time to head out and vote. Make sure you wear a mask, keep socially distancing, and if you see anyone trying to intimidate any other fellow voters, call the ACLU at 1-866-OUR-VOTE or 1-888-VE-Y-VOTA, or you can call the U.S. Department of Justice Voting Rights Hotline at 1-800-253-3931, or let one of the poll workers know. Remember: you have a right to vote. Don’t let anyone bully you, coerce you, or intimidate you into skipping the polls. You have every right to make your voice heard. Don’t forget that.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.

As I told Joe when we mailed our ballots re: ’20 election, “We WILL have our say in this matter!”
