The Saga Continues

Two superheroes.

Saturday and Sunday were insane: both days were busy and on Sunday, I was asked to stay for eight hours. I was only supposed to work six that day, but apparently, if I hadn’t stayed, no one would have been there to do the last walk for the night. It didn’t help that our opener on Sunday was Sailor and she went home early because she was “tired”. (Aren’t we all?) But I digress. Before you ask: no, Pam wasn’t in on Friday or Saturday. Well, at least, not to work.

She came in on Friday, a few papers in her hand. She headed back to the office. I didn’t see her leave. Later that night, as I was filing the paperwork, I heard one of the supervisors mention that the schedule was changed, that Pam had seniority and that I had a reduction in my hours but I could be asked to stay if needed.

Pam was dropping off papers. Now this. Something is definitely up but I have no idea what.

Things are going to get interesting in the next few weeks. I have all ideas about that. Stay tuned.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
