Every Little Thing…

These are the only proper responses to those questions.

Surprisingly, my knees are feeling somewhat better; I managed to make it to the den without yelping in pain and when I had to step over Prime–he’s chilling by the box fan–I could lift my legs without much trouble. The braces I’ve been wearing might actually be helping matters. I’m also taking acetaminophen twice a day for any possible swelling and that may also be a factor.

We had some really nice weather earlier. Now it’s getting humid and hot again. I can remember when I used to enjoy that sort of weather but now, I can’t. I feel like a rotisserie chicken on a spit. I break into a sweat just walking. I blame the tamoxifen.

Speaking of which, I picked up my last bottle of the stuff yesterday. It should run me through October and then that’s it. I’m done with it. Five years already. It’s a little hard to believe.

We’re still selling masks at work. I’ve been picking some up every now and again. I also managed to score a few masks at American Family Field; I’ll be using them later. But I’m not stopping the mask wearing. I only very recently had to deal with a cold; the last time I had one was early last year. I rather enjoy not getting sick, so I’m keeping the mask on for the foreseeable future. I even have some fairly fashionable ones, so I’ll look good wearing it. So yeah, if we’re having a BotCon next year, I’ll be there. Just look for the mask.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
