It’s Not Easy…

It was in there the whole time! Honest!

I tried that new Cheetos macaroni and cheese tonight. It’s good but not amazing. Honestly, I find that Kraft is better but the Cheetos macaroni is better than most off brands. But holy Primus, is it ever a bright shade of orange that is in no way found in nature! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a macaroni and cheese dinner that was quite so orange. I mean, Kraft is downright muted by comparison! This stuff is violently orange. There’s also a jalapeño and cheese version, along with the Flaming Hot variety. I’m willing to give the jalapeño a go but I’m skipping the Flaming Hot. I’ve heard that the jalapeño is actually very good, but Flaming Hot falls into the “love it or hate it” category. To be honest, I’ve never cared for the Flaming Hot flavors of anything, much less Cheetos. So that’s a definite skip.

I’m thinking about grabbing some sunscreen for our trip to Minnesota. As far as I know, Target Field doesn’t have a roof, so we might be stuck in the sun for a while. The top of my head will be fine; I’m going to be wearing a hat. But my arms and face? Not so much. Sunscreen is a very good idea.

I have some ideas on what I’ll be packing to wear at the ballpark. I have a couple of Brewers shirts and one Timber Rattlers/Brewers logo shirt picked out. I have a couple of hats set aside that I’m going to take. It’s a little under two months and I already have my outfits planned for my micro vacation. Then again, I packed my suitcase for BotCon about a year in advance of the convention. That’s the absolute truth.

Before you ask: yes, I have Brewers masks that I will be taking. Reusable and disposable. As I said, I’m not taking any risks. We have too many variants running around and I refuse to take a chance. It’ll be the same with BotCon next year.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
