Binge Worthy

What, muthaf*cka?!

Saturday was a rather calm day at work; none of our counts hit over 170 all day, which is unusual. Weekends are ridiculous at Costco. We have around four to five hundred people coming in every hour on a typical Saturday. But not this weekend, which was fine with me.

We had two call ins on Saturday. So we were slightly short at the door. But having a slower day mitigated that. Sunday was a different story.

We were busy pretty much the whole day, except I and one of my coworkers were both done at 15:30. So if it ever slowed down, we didn’t see it.

I tried multiple times to help train my coworker on the temperature walks, but I couldn’t. The front end kept getting backed up and they had to pull her back to the front to help take care of everything. I’m hoping she has a few shifts during the week, so she can go on the temperature walk with someone else and learn it. Temp walks are daunting, to say the least; it took me several run throughs before I finally got it down. But that’s Costco’s level of training: toss ’em in the deep end and see if they can swim.

Prime finally got Disney+, so we spent Sunday night binging WandaVision. Like, the entire series in one night. I’m going to keep this as spoiler free as possible, but I will warn you: it comes across as a cute sitcom at the beginning, but it takes a sharp tonal shift later. There are certain moments that might have you feeling slightly unnerved but there’s good reason to feel that way. But it’s a really good watch, so if you haven’t already seen it, take the time.

Also, watch the credits during the final episode. It’s a Marvel production; do I really need to say why? 😉

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
