Extra Innings

As you probably remember, I was in Milwaukee last night, taking in a Brewers game. We had one hell of a start: the Brewers took a no hitter into the seventh inning. The Crew was ahead 4 – 0 over the Pirates and it looked like a win was assured.

Then we had a pitching change. One of our newest acquisitions–Daniel Norris–pretty much shit the bed. The Pirates pulled ahead and the score was 5 – 4. The Brewers did manage to tie things up and the game went into extra innings, but it didn’t work out in the Crew’s favor.

The Pirates won 8 – 5.

Today’s game was a lot better. We got a 4 – 2 win, which means we won the series. A sweep would have been great, but I’m fine with just winning series. Because I want the Crew to win the Series. If you know what I mean.

The Crew are off tomorrow, then we have a series against the Giants. (Nope, totally not freaking out!) Again, all I want is a series win. Nothing too spectacular.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
