Hey y’all!

Prime and I started on Loki recently and it goes without saying that I’m absolutely hooked. Granted, this isn’t “our” Loki, the Loki that had a character arc in the various MCU films and grew beyond being a trickster. The thing is, he has that potential because Loki has always had that potential. So no, this Loki isn’t beyond redemption. But then again, I didn’t think Loki was ever beyond redemption. That’s just me.

The first episode was a good setup and drew me in immediately. The second episode, however, was disturbing. Extremely disturbing.

There were mentions of apocalypses. Plural. Mostly due to climate change. I won’t get into any huge details, but we’ve got twenty seven years before the first one hits us. Granted, this is a fictional series but at the rate we’re going, I can believe that some nasty shit will happen due to our own stupidity. Ain’t I just a huge fucking ray of sunshine? But I digress.

I’m calling it now: the TVA isn’t as pure and righteous as they make themselves out to be. I’m betting there’s some dirty shit going on in that building and not a lot of people know about it. But I’ll just have to wait and see.

Also: I will no longer say that I’m drunk if I’ve happened to imbibed. No, from now on I’m going to say that I’m full. Perhaps very full. For reasons.
