Seven Quick Takes Friday: Snow Business Edition

1) Current mood:

2) This is your weekly reminder that #FacebookIsTrash.

3) Thought for the Week: I put in an order for snow on Christmas. It came on frickin’ Wednesday. I gotta lodge a complaint against whoever is running this planet because they dun goof’d.

4) As always, hours have been cut this week. But I doubt it will last, as the seasonal hires will be gone soon enough and some of the newer staff will get fed up and leave. So I’ll go from 32 hours to 38 in about a week or two. I wish I was kidding but I’m not because it happens every single year.

5) Thursday was another dumpster fire of a day with another garbage juice chaser. Two people didn’t show up–AGAIN–and it was up to me to do four procedures back to back. I was barely at the door for most of my shift. It might have only been five hours, but I was exhausted when I was done.

6) We heard that Fanatics was going to start producing baseball cards, but we weren’t sure how they were going to do it. Now we know: Fanatics is going to buy Topps. So technically, Topps is not going to be out of the baseball cards business and Fanatics won’t be forming a new company to print baseball cards.

7) Still no luck with the Riolu. I swear, the RNG hates me.

With that said, we’ll pause for today. But don’t worry, I’ll be back next week with more randomness for you to read. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe, and I’ll see you soon!

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
