“Seasonal” Conditions

This Friday is Opening Day for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. As always, the weather has decided to take a turn for the suck: we’re overcast, damp, dealing with both rain and snow, and cold. The only positive thing is the fact that the snow isn’t sticking. The ground is far too warm. But this is typical; each year, just before the start of baseball season, the weather decides to go from early spring to late autumn/early winter.

Some years are worse than others: several years ago, we had a snowstorm that left a few inches of snow in the seats. I bundled up as thickly as I could but I was still freezing. Another year it was so cold that Prime and I stayed in the club level because it was tolerable in there.

I’m hoping this year it won’t be as bad. I don’t have long until I find out for certain.

Expect an update. Along with a photo or two. See you at the ballpark! ❤

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
