Situation Unchanged

Still fragged up.

This morning, I got in at 9:45, expecting to see the opener at the entrance door, waiting for me. Instead, there was no one there, no radios, no tablet, and no indication that the steel walk had been done. I feared the worst.

I hate it when I’m right.

I was the only one at the door and I wouldn’t have any help until 12:15. The steel walk hadn’t been done, so it fell to me to get it done. I also had to do the 10 and 11 o’clock procedures.

Tired? You better believe it.

Thankfully, my coworker came in at noon, so I was okay. We managed fairly well until 15:45, when Jed was scheduled. Things got a lot easier after that.

But I’m exhausted. I also don’t see this getting any better anytime soon.

In happier news, Prime managed to snag me a new phone. It’ll be here tomorrow. I hope it’s compatible with Mint; I don’t see why it shouldn’t be. I hope to use this one for at least four years; if I’m lucky, I’ll be using it longer.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
