Things I Learned on Vacation

-The fastest route according to your GPS is not.

-I know there is a hell. I have been stuck in Chicago road destruction construction.

-You don’t pick the perfect souvenir. The souvenir picks you.

-When it comes to conventions, it’s a tradition that things don’t start on time.

-Most people who have a driver’s license, shouldn’t.

-Most people who have CDLs, shouldn’t.

-Investing in orange barrels could fund your retirement in the Midwest.

-The best parties are spontaneous.

-Seeing familiar faces makes everything worth while.

-Sometimes, a spontaneous purchase ends up being the most useful.

-It’s not the amount of money you spend in the dealer room, but what you take home.

-No matter how well you plan, things will find new, different, and interesting ways to go wrong.

-Also, no matter what, it’s worth it.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
