3) Thought for the Week: A lot of people head to haunted houses to get their pulses racing. Me? I just watch the nightly news.
4) Our holiday hours have been announced and they start next week. This means we’ll be open until 19:00 on Saturdays until the week before Christmas. We’ll also be open at 9:00 on Black Friday, but that doesn’t bother me too much; Black Friday isn’t close to what it used to be when I worked at Walmart. I also don’t have to deal with being in until 00:30 Thanksgiving night and clocking back in at 6:45 on Black Friday. Dear Primus, Walmart was absolutely shitty for pulling that garbage.
5) The World Series starts today. Best of luck to the Phillies. Or, better yet:
6) Things are running a bit more smoothly now that we have more help, but I wonder exactly how long we’ll have it. We still have a lot of communication issues in the store and favoritism is still running rampant so I fear that a good number of people will get sick of it and leave. Then, we’ll be back to square one.
7) Prime and I binged Moon Knight on Disney+. If you haven’t seen it, then you really should. It’s excellent. I’m hoping we get to see the avatar of Khonshu in a proper MCU film.
