In honor of the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, here’s the opening to Pokémon Red. Welcome to the thing that saved my freaking sanity when I had a back injury while working at Target back in 2000. I had a lot of fun leveling up my Bulbasaur, Bruticus. You never forget your first. ❤

I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.

    I never played Pokémon red but my whole childhood revolved around my Nintendo DS and Pokémon black & white. Loved that game to death.
