The last few days I have been hitting the Switch hard. Welcome to self care 101: if all else fails, pick up a controller. It works!
As I mentioned previously, there are issues with Scarlet and Violet. These games feel unfinished and unpolished; most of the bugs are from performance issues. But they’re still a lot of fun!
I’ve already gotten three Gym Badges and taken down two Titans. My next move is going after the first Team Star base. My team is now in the upper 20s to lower 30s and I’ve been rotating members in order to fill the Dex. Well, rotating a couple of members. Some Pokémon have a permanent spot on my team and aren’t going anywhere.
My shiny Lokix is one of them.
Ransack was unbelievably helpful during my second Gym battle; she’s the one who took down Brassius’s team! Sudowoodo didn’t stand a chance against her. She’s an absolute monster on the field! I’m duly impressed by her performance.
If you had told me that I would be using an early Route Bug as an ace on my Violet team, I wouldn’t have believed you. There aren’t many Bug types that catch my eye or I find useful. But Lokix is amazing! This is hands down one of my favorites from this generation.
No, I haven’t gone picnicking yet. But that’s coming up next; I managed to catch a Ditto, which means I can start breeding, both for shinies and for Natures! I’m going to be busy until any DLC is announced.
