Apparently, we had a full-time position in Member Service. Mary applied. She got said position.
Now, I’m perfectly happy that she got it, but not everyone feels the same. Kim is absolutely livid about this. She’s already threatening to go to Jeremy over this and is saying that she’s going to quit. She’s also saying that Jed will quit as well.
It seems that Kim believes that Mary is going to request Fridays and Saturdays off, taking them away from Kim. About a year ago, Mary had those days off but it was because her mother was ill and Mary was taking care of her. Once Mary’s mother died, she stopped taking those two days. But Kim either doesn’t understand that or she just doesn’t care. So she’s acting like a psycho hose beast, as usual.
Jed? I can see him quitting. He’s in school for an entirely different career and he’s had a couple of job offers. It wouldn’t take much for him to walk. Kim? I honestly don’t know. She could be bullshitting or she could be serious. This could go either way.
I swear, I’m going to walk into the building and into a damn fight one day.
