Sunday Morning Nostalgia Crush!
“Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” with Robin Leach. When I saw the introduction to this, I would immediately find something else to watch. I never understood the attraction of this program.
Sunday Morning Nostalgia Crush!
“Ebony and Ivory” by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. This song was enormously popular for years. I’m honestly surprised that it hasn’t gotten a Weird Al parody of some sort.

“Party All the Time” by Eddie Murphy. Not a terrible song but I’m kind of glad he stuck with acting.

“A Man Without Love” by Engelbert Humperdinck. I heard this on the oldies station a lot when I was a teenager. It has a tendency to stick in my head. For some odd reason, every time I hear this song … Continue reading
Sunday Morning Nostalgia Crush!
Watching the big apple drop on New Year’s Eve 1987/New Year’s Day 1988, which was 35 years ago. This was my tradition on New Year’s Eve: I would stay over at my great-grandmother’s apartment, we would watch Dick Clark’s New … Continue reading

Greg Lake’s “I Believe in Father Christmas”. An extremely underrated Christmas song that I happened to hear in high school. One year, we put on a Christmas play and this was the song used at the closing. It took me … Continue reading

“Africa” by Toto. This is set in East Africa, which has a rainy season in December, making it a Christmas song and you can’t tell me otherwise.
Sunday Morning Nostalgia Crush!
“Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Starship. Another one of those “it was on radios everywhere back in the 1980s” songs. Thankfully, I actually liked it.

Sunday Morning Nostalgia Crush!
The opening of The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. I heard rumors that Worlds of Wonder helped with the puppets, but I can’t say this for an absolute fact.
Sunday Morning Nostalgia Crush!
The opening to Batman: the Animated Series. Quite possibly the best animated version of Batman ever produced. Kevin Conroy, you were an absolute legend. The streets of Gotham are so much emptier without you.
