All Fun and Games

Best hung when it’s cold… for it’s very cold in space.

I’ve been hitting the Switch pretty hard lately; Prime’s already finished the story portion of the game while I’m close to battling the Champion. I finally have a complete team: Rillaboom, Golurk, Bisharp, Sawk, Araquanid, and Galarian Rapidash. It took a while to get the last member of the team; Galarian Ponyta is exclusive to Shield and I’m playing Sword. I had to go through a few Surprise Trades before I finally got one. I do love getting breeding scraps; they are hugely helpful.

The game has taken my mind off of things; Lulu had to go to the vet on Tuesday and I had to go to the doctor today. Lulu seems to have a UTI; she’s got meds for it and she’s surprisingly good at taking them. She’s not in pain, her appetite is great, she’s ready and willing to play, so this seems to be fairly mild. I’m thinking we caught this early. Still, poor kitty. She doesn’t deserve to be in any discomfort; she’s been through enough in her life. 😦

Needless to say, my anxiety has been on the uptick. It’s not too bad now, thankfully. But I couldn’t help it; Lulu’s my sweet little girl and I worry.

I’m thinking about giving Lulu some of her presents early. Or giving her one gift a day until Christmas. Why not make it a week instead of one single day?

We have a week until Christmas. One week. Seven days. Thank Primus. I managed to get through another one.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
