Under Pressure

Lulu, knock it off!

Monday was not a good day; I had a doctor’s appointment and well, I had the full physical exam. Now, on one hand, I’m glad, as I got my mammogram done but on the other…

Let’s just say something had to be removed and I was in a fair amount of pain for the rest of the day. Female pain, if you will. It wasn’t pleasant.

Basically, I just spent Monday lounging around and watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine along with Star Trek: the Next Generation. I felt pretty hammered for most of the day and just took it easy for the remainder.

Prime could tell something was wrong almost immediately and asked if I was okay. I was and pretty much am okay but I was shaken. I’ve already had other body parts who wanted to take me down. I don’t want to deal with others.

On top of this, Prime inadvertently ran the battery on Skids down to nothing and had to get a jump. So yeah, sucktacularity all around.

Tuesday was a recovery day; I ended up napping for a bit. I didn’t feel quite as bad Tuesday as I did Monday but was still pretty hammered. And now it’s back to work today.

At least it’s just a five hour shift. I think I can handle that.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
