You have to feel bad for poor Pat McCrory. The guy’s been fired by the electorate of the state of North Carolina and he’s having a tough time finding employment elsewhere.
Oh wait. You don’t. Because the guy is a freaking clueless jackass.
According to the poor dear, House Bill 2 “has impacted me to this day, even after I left office. People are reluctant to hire me, because, ‘oh my gosh, he’s a bigot’ — which is the last thing I am.”
Okay, then what are you, McCrory? Because you sure as hell aren’t tolerant. That damned piece of legislation just proves it.
“If you disagree with the politically correct thought police on this new definition of gender, you’re a bigot, you’re the worst of evil,” he told Nelson. “It’s almost as if I broke a law.”
Funny thing: people react the exact same way when you disagree with those “politically correct thought police” on the idea of rights for those people who aren’t white. And guess what? If you discriminate against those people who aren’t white, you’ve broken the damned law. It’s not that hard to understand: if you violate people’s rights, you have done something terribly wrong. You will face repercussions for that. That concept must be too much for the guy. Because he just keeps going and going, like some bigoted little Energizer bunny:
“You ask the doctor if it’s a boy or a girl; you don’t ask the baby,” McCrory explained.
Hello, McCrory? Babies can’t talk. They cry, they gurgle, they drool, they make messes in their diapers but they can’t discuss the concept of gender with you. Or did you forget that, McCrory? Older children, on the other hand, can carry on a conversation. Maybe we should ask the child what gender s/he is and not an infant? It’s just a half-baked thought.
Oh, and you ask the doctor because doctors have never, ever been wrong about a thing in the history of ever. Sure, gotcha. Those malpractice lawsuits I’ve heard about are just fake news, like the moon landing and all. 🙄
Apparently, he’s gotten some offers for part-time teaching positions, but the academic leaders of these institutions “have shown reluctance because of student protests.”
“That’s not the way our American system should operate — having people purged due to political thought,” he told The N&O.
Tell that to Joseph freaking McCarthy. See how far that would have gotten you back in the 1950s. But let’s be completely blunt here: those schools are afraid that you might, oh I don’t know, discriminate against some of the attending students. That could be a massive problem on their hands and they don’t want it. They might be staring down the business end of a lawsuit because a trans student felt that you were discriminating against them, McCrory. They don’t want to deal with that and the possible embarrassment of dealing with you.
You brought this on yourself, man. This is all on you. There is no way in hell I am going to waste any of my sympathy on a bigoted turd like you. However, I will let you have this one for free:
