Catch a Tiger By the Tail

Pretty sure it belongs to a kid named Calvin.

Last week was kinda sucky, to be honest. It seems that management was in a rather pissy mood and well, they were riding us for whatever reason. Yeah, I don’t get it either. One of my co-workers is absolutely getting on my last nerve; Mary is a damned gossip and believes that everyone else’s business is her own. It’s fucking ridiculous. I’m not crazy about working with her for that reason alone. I swear, just when I think shit’s getting better and going my way, the universe says, “Nah.” Just my damn luck.

It’s gotten warm again and I hate it. Again with the heat and humidity. I get it: it’s summer and it’s not supposed to be cool. But 68° and low humidity sounds great right now. I’m almost looking forward to autumn. Almost.

We just came off of our “Tax Holiday”, which ran from Thursday to Sunday. A lot of people used it as an excuse to shop. Me, I just saw it as a desperate attempt to garner votes this fall by our dipshit governor who needs to get thrown out on his ass. Seriously, Walker sucks ass as a governor and needs to go. Immediately. (Before you ask, I never voted for him. Not once. I pretty much knew he was going to be trash when he was elected and in that respect, he hasn’t let me down.)

I may have mentioned this before, but we’re selling costumes at work. There’s one I have to get. It’s Bumblebee. In his new VW look. So yeah, this is standalone movie based. I need one. For reasons.

It’s August. How did it get to be August? We have maybe six more weeks of summer, then the weather will turn. Already the two trees near the entrance doors at work are farting off their leaves; they start this up every year in August. I keep trying to sweep up the stupid leaves, but it’s a never-ending battle.

At least it’s leaves and not snow. That’ll be here soon enough.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
